The Blog wishes every a very happy Stereoscopy Day, 187 years to the day when Sir Charles Wheatstone first presented the stereoscope and his theory of binocular vision to the world.
Today on the Stereoscopy Blog, you’ll find a new post going out every couple of hours to celebrate different aspects of stereoscopy.
Please don’t forget to also check out the Stereoscopy Day events website to see what else is happening and for ideas about how you can join in too, wherever you are on this 3-D planet.
If you’re in London, you can join the Brian May Archive of Stereoscopy at St. Mary-le-Strand church for a free 3-D presentation ‘Music and Musicians in the Stereoscope‘ from 1.30pm BST, it will be cool! If you aren’t in London, don’t worry, you can attend the talk later online at 6.30pm BST, see the Stereoscopy Day events page for details.
Have a wonderful #StereoscopyDay
